Serving Tennis Women was represented at the USTA Community Tennis Development Workshop in Dallas, TX, this past February by one of our founders, Orit Ostrowiak. The event fostered valuable conversations with industry leaders focused on expanding access, strengthening pathways, and building sustainable programs. A powerful theme that emerged was service. Inspired by the "partnership in spirit" between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Arthur Ashe. The Realize the Dream Foundation has set an ambitious goal of 100 million hours of community service by 2029. The USTA Foundation has pledged 800,000 hours to support that effort, underscoring how tennis can serve as a platform for equity, opportunity, and meaningful impact. We are grateful for the new connections and renewed energy to continue advancing service through tennis, alongside USTA Colorado and the Intermountain Section.
